The Secret Kingston You'll Never See

It is our challenge as The Mess to be a creative community growing qualitatively and quantitatively in compassion, grace and love for all people!

Here is an article from "The Whig-Standard," written by, Edward O'Brien that highlights the great need for building community and relationships with the greatest in need in our city!

Doug Neilson 1956-2013

We will remember Doug as a quiet, kind person with a gentle heart and a calming presence!

"One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple.  For in the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling; he will hide me in the shelter of his tabernacle and set me high upon a rock."  -Psalm 27:4-5

On Thursday, July 4, from 6-9pm at nightlight, 666 Princess St.
The Mess and nighlight will be hosting an "An Evening Dedicated to Doug".
This will be an opportunity to speak with others about what Doug has come to mean to our community.
If you knew Doug, you are invited!  If you didn't know Doug and would like to offer your support, you are invited!
